Российская компания UNIM создала нейросеть, помогающую врачу выявлять метастазы злокачественных опухолей. Согласно пресс-релизу компании, новый продукт позволяет в сотни раз сократить затраты рабочего времени врача-диагноста. Для того чтобы получить исчерпывающую информацию о наличии и расположении похожих на метастазы образований, нейросети достаточно 10 с, тогда как традиционная диагностика занимает не менее получаса для каждого образца. При создании нейросети было использовано свыше 60 терабайт диагностических данных, а в ее обучении участвовало несколько десятков специалистов-патоморфологов. Как пояснили в пресс-службе компании UNIM, нейросеть работает с оцифрованными гистологическими препаратами. Она способна самостоятельно выявлять атипичные эпителиоидные клетки в образцах тканей пациентов. Таким образом, новая технология позволяет диагностировать наличие метастазов целого ряда злокачественных новообразований: опухолей молочной железы, легкого, желудка, матки, шейки матки, кишечника и т. д. В настоящее время разработка используется в тестовом режиме в собственной лаборатории компании. Компания UNIM, основанная в 2013 г., является резидентом «Сколково», в ее портфеле несколько инновационных продуктов и решений для лабораторной диагностики.

The pharmacy segment is traditionally the most receptive in the Russian pharmaceutical market. As of year-end 2018, its share accounted for about 70% in value terms and not less than 80% in pack terms. The updated vital and essential drug (VED) list as being in force on January 1, 2019 have now been joined by 38 drugs and 2 new dosage forms. In total, it contains 735 drugs (it included 699 items in 2018 [1]). Among novel drugs is a modern opioid analgesic, which can significantly improve the lives of patients with severe pain.

In recent years, major changes have occurred in the European healthcare system: implementing Health 2020 contributed to shifting the main emphasis from the mortality and morbidity problems towards improving health and well-being. At the same time, the new strategy stimulated the collection of more detailed statistical information. The review presents the data on the health and well-being status of the Europe population in comparison with the situation in Russia in the 21st century.

Today, providing visitors with information and advice is one of the main activities of the pharmacist. The ability to communicate effectively with pharmacy visitors is the required skill to perform this type of activity. The researchers performed an assessment of the level of communicative competence of pharmacists and studied the dependence of the level of communicative competence on certain personality traits. The study was aimed to assess the affect of certain personality traits of pharmacists on the effectiveness of their communication with the consumers. In the course of the study, the researchers detected the aspects of emotional intelligence, the leading type of conflict response, the level of emotional burnout and creativity of pharmacists. The researchers conducted a correlation analysis of connections between the level of communicative competence and the personality traits described above. The correlation analysis showed the instant connection between the level of communicative competence of pharmacists and such personality traits as emotional intelligence, the type of conflict response. It was concluded effective communication skills should be developed in the pharmacists. This objective was proved to be performed through the adjustment of the type of conflict response and the development of emotional intelligence in the specialists.
