This applies to both dissertations and initiative research studies that are supported by grants from pharmaceutical companies. Prior to submitting a protocol of forthcoming study to the Academic Council or the Grant Committee, it should be designed competently, so that the study findings deserve to be believed. Designing a research study goes through several stages, from formulating a research question to describing the methods that are used to improve the objectivity of the data. Formulating a research question is the key to designing a research study. The research question should meet certain criteria: an answer can be obtained theoretically; an answer to the question will contribute to the science; the investigator has sufficient forces and resources to obtain the answer.
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>clinical studies</kwd><kwd>designing</kwd><kwd>research question</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>клинические исследования</kwd><kwd>планирование</kwd><kwd>исследовательский вопрос</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Regoniel P.
