Russian railway medicine: occupational risks, organizational problems and modernization directions (literature review)

Abstract


The article presents a systematic analysis of the specifics and current state of railway medicine in the Russian Federation. Based on the generalization of domestic and foreign studies, key aspects are considered: historical prerequisites for the formation of the sectoral healthcare system; features of employee morbidity caused by a complex of harmful industrial factors; the current model of medical care organization and its regulatory regulation; identified systemic problems of accessibility and quality of services; as well as promising areas of reform. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the experience of introducing innovative organizational and managerial technologies that can be adapted to modernize the medical care of railway transport personnel.
