Abstract
The article presents data on the regulatory and legal analysis of the mechanisms of formation and development of the institute of mentoring in the health care system. On the basis of the obtained data of the content analysis of the model provisions on mentoring of individual subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the necessary elements of legal regulation of mentoring in medical organizations have been determined.
