Public administration and industrial policy in the sphere of medical equipment production: a study of international experience for Russia

Abstract
The study is devoted to the development of the medical industry in Russia. By studying best global practices, we can identify promising areas for public administration development and substantiate support measures. The purpose of the study is to analyze international management and regulatory experience in the medical equipment industry and identify factors for the industry's promising development, with the goal of adopting successful management practices from other countries for the Russian economy. Materials and Methods. The research methodology utilizes statistical methods of data analysis, comparative analysis, and a systems approach to analyzing the medical industry. Results. The article highlights factors for the industry's successful development and proposes an algorithm for developing the Russian medical industry and measures for public administration based on international experience. Conclusion. International experience in medical industry development demonstrates the availability of a set of proven tools that, if properly adapted, can accelerate the growth of the domestic industry. These tools include long-term investment in innovation, cluster formation and cooperation, export promotion, implementation of the best technological solutions, a well-thought-out regulatory policy, and reliance on human capital.
