Telepharmacy as a promising direction for the development of pharmaceutical care in the context of digital transformation

Abstract

The development of digital technology is increasing the number of ways in which pharmaceutical care can be provided, and therefore its accessibility. One of the key areas of this development is telepharmacy, the application of which is relevant both abroad and in Russia. The experience of introducing telepharmacy services differs from country to country. In our country, services such as remote ordering of drugs and remote counselling with a pharmaceutical specialist are particularly developed. An analysis was conducted of mobile applications and websites of online services for remote ordering and delivery of medicines, dietary supplements and other pharmacy products.
