Based on the generalization of domestic and foreign studies, key aspects are considered: historical prerequisites for the formation of the sectoral healthcare system; features of employee morbidity caused by a complex of harmful industrial factors; the current model of medical care organization and its regulatory regulation; identified systemic problems of accessibility and quality of services; as well as promising areas of reform.
