Key professional and personal determinants of stress resistance are identified based on scientific publications and materials from a survey conducted among nurses and paramedics. Special attention is paid to the role of collegial support in conditions of isolation, self-regulation practices and organizational actions aimed at reducing the risk of emotional burnout in this category of medical professionals. Insufficiently studied aspects have been identified empirically, such as the dominant stress factor in the form of fear of infecting the family and low involvement in formal psychological care systems.
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>professional stress</kwd><kwd>stress factor</kwd><kwd>stress resistance</kwd><kwd>paramedical personnel</kwd><kwd>nurse</kwd><kwd>paramedic</kwd><kwd>emergency medical care</kwd><kwd>COVID-19 pandemic</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>профессиональный стресс</kwd><kwd>стресс-фактор</kwd><kwd>стрессоустойчивость</kwd><kwd>средний медицинский персонал</kwd><kwd>медицинская сестра</kwd><kwd>фельдшер</kwd><kwd>пандемия COVID-19</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Aksenova E.
