Распространённость профессионального контактного дерматита среди медицинских работников в последние годы колеблется от 12% до 65%. Средняя распространённость контактного дерматита рук среди медицинских работников увеличилась к настоящему времени с 21,08% до 37,24% вследствие пандемии COVID-19. Данная патология как одно из наиболее распространённых профессиональных заболеваний кожи и социально значимая проблема здравоохранения может привести к потере производительности труда, больничным, снижению качества работы и жизни, а также ослаблению удовлетворённости работой.
