The article presents a theoretical and analytical justification for the need to develop digital literacy of medical professionals, reveals the structure of digital competencies, including technical, informational, communicative, legal and reflexive components. The key reasons for the demand for digital skills in professional activities are analyzed: the implementation of the state policy of digitalization of healthcare, the growth of clinical information, the development of telemedicine, and the increase in digital activity of patients.
