Одним из приоритетных её направлений признана «красная» биотехнология, отражающая необходимость интеграции научных достижений в области биомедицины, персонализированной медицины, биофармацевтики, синтетической биологии, цифровых технологий в сферу здравоохранения. Проведённый анализ 58 отечественных и зарубежных научных публикаций показал наличие большого количества инновационных разработок, безопасное внедрение которых в практику требует совершенствования вопросов правого регулирования их использования, разработки механизмов интеграции не только в конкретную отрасль экономики, но и создания логистической архитектуры использования ресурсов «без остатка» в едином биоэкономическом пространстве. Всё это создаёт предпосылки для развития интегрированных, междисциплинарных исследований, направленных на разработку организационных и управленческих решений для реализации основных принципов эффективной биоэкономики.
